3 <br /> 2 <br /> 2. The County agrees to provide a minimum of 2 Emergency Medical Technicians <br /> for each 1997 event(3-29, 4-19, 5-3, 5-17, 5-24, 5-25, 6-7, 6-14, 6-28, 7-4, 7-19, 8-2, <br /> 8-9, 8-23, 8-30, 8-31, 9-6, 9-27, 10-11, and 10-25. Additional coverage will be <br /> negotiated between the County and the Kartway at the time of need. <br /> 3. The County agrees to keep records of patients seen at the Kartway while covering <br /> Kartway events under this contract and, with the consent of the patient, to provide such <br /> records to the Kartway, upon its request. Data available to the County from the records <br /> of patients seen at the Kartway which is clearly not patient identifying may be provided <br /> to the Kartway, upon request of the Kartway and when appropriate. <br /> 4. The Kartway shall compensate the County for emergency medical services <br /> provided pursuant to this contract by paying to the County a sum based on a rate of <br /> $30.00 per hour for each event covered. These hours will include preparation and travel <br /> time of two (2) hours for each event plus the coverage time per event. The County shall <br /> submit an invoice for these events on a monthly basis and payment by the Kartway shall <br /> be made to the order of the County and mailed to Orange County Emergency <br /> Management, P. O. Box 8181, Hillsborough,N. C. 27278. <br /> 5. The personnel providing the emergency services shall report to the Kartway at <br /> the time agreed upon by the Kartway and the County. <br /> 6. The contract may be reviewed annually no later than March 1, and may be <br /> renewed, modified, or amended at that time, or at any other time, upon the mutual <br /> written agreement of the parties. <br />
