Mike Tapp, the CountyFire <br /> Marshal, has indicated that such a plan is required for the Speedway and as a result service <br /> contracts were developed between the Speedway and Orange County EMS (for emergency <br /> medical services) and Caldwell Fire Department(for fire protection). Both of these agencies <br /> are on site during any race event. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board approve the pyrotechnics <br /> permit for Orange Speedway for their fireworks display to occur July 3, 1997 (or rain date, <br /> July 5,1997); and authorize the staff to sign off on the permit form as indicated. <br />
