Crace.Holton <br /> FROM: _ Bill M <br /> SUBJECT: Summer ojects . . <br /> DATE: May 6, 1997 <br /> As you are aware,the 1997-98 Capital Improvement Plan includes funds for the replacement of <br /> Culbreth Middle School's HVAC equipment and roof repairs at Chapel Sill High School. In <br /> order for activities to start in early June,project plans and specifications were completed, <br /> advertising was conducted, and construction bids were opened. Architects and engineers are in <br /> the process of certifying the bids and, in order to complete the.projects,within the summer time <br /> schedule, contracts must be executed in May. <br /> The.approximate financial commitments for the two projects are as follows: <br /> Culbreth Middle School HVAC Project - $540,000. <br /> Chapel Hill Sigh School Roofing Project - - $200,000 <br /> Funding for the Culbreth Middle School HVAC project is included in the 1997-98 CEP- <br /> Mechanical Systems account.
