On April 7, 1997, Mr. Peter Morcombe, Director of Financial Reform for <br /> Excellence in Education(FREE), also wrote to the Orange County legislative delegation. Both <br /> letters are attached as background information. <br /> The boards may wish to discuss some of the points laid out in these two letters, and/or other aspects <br /> of the impact of charter schools in Orange County. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): As the Board decides. <br />
