We <br /> take pride in noting that since SportsPlex opened, we have hosted 7 swim meets at the facility. <br /> Most recently, we had the opportunity to host a full YMCA Championship Meet on March 21- <br /> 23, 1997 which attracted 375 swimmers from 19 YMCAs throughout North Carolina and <br /> Virginia. <br /> Prior to this meet, we requested that you consider purchasing several key pieces of equipment <br /> to complete the full 10-lane Colorado Timing System and Display Panels. You honored this <br /> request, and the result was a most impressive, exceptionally smooth meet that was able to <br /> utilize the full 10-lane pool. The entire field of teams was greatly impressed with the overall <br /> facility, how fast the pool was, and the easily seen display panels on the wall for all 10 lanes. <br /> I recently received a survey from Mr. Rusty Kretz, Director of Aquatics, asking about our <br /> experiences at Triangle SportsPlex and inquiring about what if any additional facilities might ' <br /> help serve our group better. <br /> I would like to take this opportunity to say that our working experiences with Rusty have been <br /> excellent. We have found Rusty to be much more professional and straight-forward to work <br /> with than any of his predecessors. Rusty has rarely settled to just meet our minimum needs, <br /> he has constantly been working to find out how the SportsPlex can serve us better. We deeply <br /> appreciate this level of dedication. <br /> I would also like to note that two of Rusty's Assistants, Jeremy and Tara have been <br /> outstanding to work with as well, combining a solid work ethic and professional conduct with <br /> a good sense of humor. Rusty has attracted some talented employees for his department. <br />
