Highway 86 to the I- <br /> 40/Old N.C. 86 interchange, the approximate center of the District, would <br /> cost approximately $150.000.. This cost includes &,4" 3 (Q <br /> linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water line at$2-5-14Q per linear foot plus <br /> contingencies and engineering costs (25%). Longer term, the Town of <br /> Hillsborough's Water Distribution System Plan calls for the extension of <br /> the 12-inch water main from the interchange due east to N.C. Highway 86. <br /> The Plan also calls for construction of a 500,000 gallon elevated water <br /> storage tank on the western border of the District. <br /> Sewage Disposal. The Town of Hillsborough is extending an 18-inch <br /> gravity sewer line along Cates Creek to near the north side of dw-vieiaity <br /> of-1-85. 1*-addition to-a-42 ifishstubetA aleftt Cates-Creek, a-A 12-inch <br /> gravity sewer line is b ' Wh&jb=n extended up a tributary of Cates Creek <br /> to serve the Wildwood Subdivision. Highway 86 <br /> would cost approximately $584,344 $670.000.
