Since <br /> the position was transferred to the library, the duties have <br /> focused on coordinating the English as a second language <br /> (ESL) program for the County. <br /> The ESL program provides volunteer tutors to instruct individuals <br /> in English for whom English is not their first language. The <br /> students in the ESL program range from preschoolers to adults. <br />
