New Structures and Septic Tanks shall <br /> be located at least 150 feet from a reservoir. Nitrification lines shall be located at least 300 feet from a reservoir. Certain <br /> smaller parcels existing prior to 1/1/94 may be exempt from certain requirements,see Orange County Planning <br /> Department. <br /> The Town Purchase Line is a minimum of 100 feet away from the Phase II reservoir pool and encompasses the <br /> 100 Year Flood Elevation. A fence is not planned to be placed around the reservoir. <br /> - Recreation is not allowed on the proposed reservoir at this time. A petition to the State of North Carolina is <br /> required to obtain approval for any form of recreation to be allowed. <br />
