The two governing bodies signed a resolution of cooperative effort in late summer <br /> 1995. <br /> A tentative park design was approved at the Spring 1996 meeting between the governments. <br /> Since that time, the work group has worked on various elements of the design. This week, the <br /> filling of the bog is being completed. Later this spring, the Occaneechi Tribe will begin <br /> construction of their palisade. Other updates are provided in the attached memo. <br /> Recommendation: The managers recommend that the Commissioners accept this report as <br /> information. <br />
