The Tax Office shows that the property was designated at some point for 20 spaces.
The park is served by a single well.
Over the past years,we have issued authorizations for mobile homes to be replaced in the park at times when there was no
obvious signs of system failures. The occurrences of these authorizations are as follows: 1 space in 1991,2 spaces in 1992,and
1 space in 1994. Reconnections have also been denied in the past due to failing septic systems, but the records are not as clear on
this. It appears that one space may have been denied in 1994,and another space was denied in 1996. There have been attempts
over the past several years to repair systems as they failed, however due to unsuitable soils, most of these repair attempts have
failed.
Four of the systems were discharging sewage to the ground surface in November of 1996. One of these was non-repairable and
has been vacated. The other three have been worked on utilizing best professional judgment, but are not likely to have a very
long life due to the unsuitable soil and lack of adequate space in the park. Also, several of the septic systems have had water
lines run through the drAaWds in spite of the required separation distances between water lines and septic systems. It is also
unknown if some of the systems may be affected by underground drainpipes which had been installed m the park Recent status
of the park is that about ten spaces are vacant and have been vacated due to problems with the septic systems which can not be
corrected on-site. Re-occupancy of those spaces would require wastewater systems located off-site or connection to a sewer
systent
Please give me a call if you need further information on this.
