No <br /> ATTACHMENT(S): INFORMATION CONTACT: <br /> PAM JONES, ext. 2650 <br /> Easement <br /> Map Telephone Number- <br /> Hillsborough 732-8181 <br /> Chapel Hill 967-9251 <br /> Mebane 227-2031 <br /> Durham 688-7331 <br /> PURPOSE: To consider approving an easement as requested by Duke Power for <br /> power lines to be installed at the Southern Human Services Center site. <br /> BACKGROUND: Duke Power will be installing certain underground power transmission <br /> lines from Homestead Road to the Southern Human Services facility and parking areas <br /> and have requested that the County grant a 10' easement on each side of the installed <br /> lines. A map showing the general installation of the lines is attached for your <br /> information. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board approve the <br /> easement to Duke Power for underground power lines at the Southern Human Services <br /> Center site; and authorize the Chair to sign on behalf of the Board. <br />
