Plan and coordinate media coverage for the project. <br /> Outcomes: The major outcome to be accomplished by this position is the development of a <br /> written health improvement plan with strategies action steps and a timetable. The plan will <br /> incorporate input from the partnership of individuals, organizations, institutions, and government <br /> agencies to improve the health status of Orange County citizens through addressing the most <br /> critical issues from the areas of concern which have been prioritized by the Task Force: <br /> 1. child abuselpoor parenting skills <br /> 2. substance abuse/illegal drug sales <br /> 3. health insurance coverage/poverty rates among minorities <br /> 4. availability and use of preventive services including prenatal care <br /> 5. sexual assault <br /> 6.
