The campus will remain the <br /> same size but will be re-configured as the proposed boundary survey indicates. We have <br /> been given the opportunity to swap land with Duke University which we believe is a <br /> wonderful opportunity for both parties. With the proposed configuration Duke University <br /> plans to extend the Duke Forest trail system and Friends School will prepare a ten year <br /> master plan for the campus. <br /> At this time we are asking for approval of an amendment to our Special Use Permit to ? <br /> allow the proposed land exchange with Duke University. The net acreage will remain the <br /> same at 33.94 acres. No new facilities or change in vehicular access are indicated. The <br /> master play which will follow approval of this land exchange vaill study expansion on the i <br /> campus including parking,new buildings and new access from Friends School Road. That <br /> planning work is pending and will begin when this modification receives approval.
