After three years, <br /> monitoring may be reduced to two times per year for surface and <br /> groundwater. The three-year period may be extended if pollutant levels <br /> exceed thresholds established by U.S. Environmental Protection <br /> Agency health advisory limits(HAL)and/or standards set by the North <br /> Carolina Department of Environment,Health and Natural Resources; <br /> and <br /> (4)Parameters for sampling shall be as provided in 8.8.7.6c below. <br /> C. Parameters for Sample Testing <br /> (1)Total phosphorous,nitrate-nitrogen,total suspended solids,turbidity <br /> and pesticides will be analyzed for each sample time; and <br /> (2)The Pollutant Monitoring Program submitted with the application as <br /> part of the Resources Management Plan shall list the pesticides that <br /> will be analyzed and the rationale for such selections,which shall be <br /> based on the Tier I risk assessment set forth in Article 8.8.7.5a(8) <br /> above. <br /> d. Reporting <br /> (1)All surface water, ground water and sediment quality monitoring <br /> results will be submitted within 45 days of collection to the Orange <br /> County Health Department,Division of Environmental Health,and/or <br /> the North Carolina Department of Environment,Health and Natural <br /> Resources,Division of Water Quality;and <br /> (2)An annual report will be submitted on a date established by the <br /> Planning and Inspections Department. <br /> e. Management Response to Pollutant Monitoring <br /> (1)If contaminants are found that may reasonably be attributed to the <br /> construction,operation,and/or maintenance of the golf course, <br /> management plans shall be reviewed to assess the problem. <br /> Appropriate adjustments in the resource management and/or integrated <br />
