37 <br /> 12119196 Final Draft 18 <br /> (4) Loading of pesticides and mixing with water or oil dilutants <br /> shall be done over an impermeable surface with a collection <br /> system that will allow chemicals and or water to be recycled; <br /> (5) Washing of pesticide application equipment shall be conducted <br /> in an area so that water and chemicals are recycled; <br /> (6) Fertilizer storage area shall be covered; and <br /> (7) Washing of maintenance equipment shall occur in an area that <br /> is covered from the elements. Runoff from the maintenance <br /> area shall be drained to a common point,filtered through a <br /> grease trap, and recycled. Grass clippings and debris collected from <br /> washing may be composted. <br /> C. Irrigation <br /> (1) Irrigation systems shall be designed and operated according to a water <br /> conservation plan described in the Resources Management Plan <br /> submitted with the application; <br /> (2) The schematic irrigation plan required by 8.8.7.2f shall identify the <br /> source(s)of water to be used for irrigation,the volume available for that <br /> purpose, and expected consumption rates. The system design and plan <br /> for operation will be evaluated based on efficiency; and <br /> (3) Use water recycled from stormwater retention ponds, or treated <br /> sewage effluent,where it is a safe alternative. <br /> d. Habitat Maintenance <br /> (1) Habitats identified in the biological 'inventory and habitats created <br /> through mitigation shall be maintained in accordance with the <br /> Resources Management Plan and/or a conservation easement <br /> agreement;and <br /> (2) Maintenance of habitats shall be minimal, consisting primarily of <br /> maintaining buffers and enhancements, removal of exotic (non- <br /> native) plant species, and keeping drainage ways functioning <br /> properly- <br /> e. Maintenance of Improvements <br />
