Solid Waste Management <br /> The Solid Waste Management Plan submitted as part of the Resources <br /> Management Plan shall include the method(s) of disposal and recycling of <br /> construction debris. <br /> 8.8.7.5 Operation and Maintenance <br /> a. Integrated Pest Management(IPM) <br /> An integrated pest management plan(IPM) shall be established based on <br /> site conditions, soils, pesticide properties and management practices. The <br /> plan shall be updated as necessary to incorporate changes in pesticide <br /> choices,applications, etc. Revised plans shall be provided to the Planning <br /> and Inspections Department within ten days of said change(s). The IPM <br /> plan shall include the following: <br /> (1)Monitoring of potential pest populations; <br /> (2)Developing and integrating biological, cultural and chemical <br /> control strategies. Integration shall include educating and <br /> training golf course personnel in biological and chemical <br /> control strategies; <br /> (3)Timing and spot treatment preferences using chemical, <br /> biological or cultural methods; <br /> (4)Evaluating results on an ongoing basis; <br /> (5) Setting thresholds for pest problems and using control <br /> treatments only when exceeded and only in areas where the <br /> thresholds have been exceeded; <br /> (6) Scouting by qualified personnel trained to recognize pest <br /> problems at an early stage; <br /> (7) Specifying local problems and treatment methods for disease <br /> control, insect control and weed control; <br />
