30 <br /> 12119196 Final Draft I <br /> (4) No greens or tees shall be located where the depth to the water table <br /> is less than four(4) feet. A minimum depth of four(4) feet shall also <br /> be maintained between subsurface drainage systems under turf areas <br /> and groundwater or bedrock; and <br /> (5) Buildings designated for storage and handling of pesticides and <br /> fertilizers shall be located a minimum of 100 feet from water <br /> sources, wells,ponds, and streams,or outside a stream buffer, <br /> whichever is greater. <br /> b. Access,Circulation,and Parking <br /> (1) For a golf course proposed as a principal use, access to the site shall <br /> be limited to one (1) main entrance and one (1)service entrance per <br /> existing road frontage. If multiple uses are proposed with the golf <br /> course as part of a Planned Development such as additional <br /> recreational facilities and/or residential development, all such uses <br /> shall share a common interior access road, which may connect to <br /> existing roads more than once; <br /> (2) Parking shall be provided in accordance with Article 10 and <br /> landscaped as per Article 12; <br /> (3) Between all use areas, safe and adequate access for pedestrians <br /> including the handicapped is required. Minimize conflicts between <br /> pedestrian and vehicular circulation. Caution signs shall be posted at <br /> all intersections of roads,cart paths,and pedestrian walkways; <br /> (4) Where a stream or other habitat crossing is unavoidable,a boardwalk <br /> or raised bridge with a free-span design shall be used to minimize <br /> adverse impacts. Other design solutions may be considered if <br /> disturbance is minimal and wildlife mobility is maintained;and <br /> (5) All vehicular and pedestrian surfaces shall be designed and graded to <br /> be visually unobtrusive. <br /> C. Maintenance and Storage Areas <br /> (1) Maintenance and storage areas include, but are not limited to, the <br /> following: <br /> • maintenance equipment storage and service areas; <br /> • solid waste collection/recycling sites; <br />
