Upon receipt of this <br /> report,the governing board must order and set a date for the lien <br /> advertisement. Tax liens may be advertised any time between <br /> March 1 and June 30. Early advertisements are more effective in <br /> encouraging payment of taxes than are advertisements during the <br /> three subsequent months. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The manager recommends that the board approve the report and set <br /> the lien advertisement date for March 5, 1997. <br />
