FINDINGS OF THE ORANGE COUNTY PLANNING BOARD PERTAINING TO APPLICATION: PD-1-98 CAROLINA FRIENDS SCHOOL (MODIFICATION OF PD-1-97) The Special Use Permit for Carolina Friends School was approved in 1990 and modified in 1992, 1996,and 1997. Article 8.7.3 of the Zoning Ordinance states that modifications to Class A Special Use Permits(other than minor changes defined by 8.7.1)shall be considered by the Board of County Commissioners following a public hearing. The findings listed below are those required by the Zoning Ordinance and used in approval of the current Special Use Permit.
