R <br /> ORANGE COUNTY DEPARTMENT ON AGING <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES UTILIZING TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL FUNDS <br /> The Orange County Department on Aging will utilize $44,017 in Town <br /> support to fund the following projects: <br /> 1. Employ a full-time staff person who will work out of the Chapel Hill Senior <br /> Center for approximately 30 hours per week and the Southern Orange Senior <br /> Center for approximately 10 hours per week. In addition, the employee will work <br /> evening hours as needed for special events. <br /> 2. Provide staff support to the citizen Program Advisory Board at the Chapel <br /> Hill Senior Center and the Southern Orange Senior Center. <br /> 3. Maintain and facilitate the existing programming at both centers including: <br /> a. Exercise and fitness-both centers <br /> b. Weekly tea and music-Chapel Hill Senior Center <br /> C. Dances-both centers <br /> d. Weekly movie program-both centers <br /> e. Village Elder series-Chapel Hill Senior Center <br /> f. Sarah West Bridge-Chapel Hill Senior Center <br /> g. Craft classes-both centers <br /> h. Senior games-both centers <br /> I. Day and overnight trips-both centers <br /> 4. Develop the following new programs <br /> a. Low cost overnight trips-both centers <br /> b. Breakfast program for men-Chapel Hill Senior Center <br /> b. Activities for single seniors- Chapel Hill Senior Center <br /> 5. Assist with all programming in both centers as needed. <br />
