These funds <br /> are to conduct liver function tests and chest x-rays for approximately 70 persons in Orange County. <br /> The amount of additional funds is $1,975 and is included in the attached budget amendment <br /> (column#1,page 2). <br /> 2) On October 13, the Board of County Commissioners approved a pay plan for Orange County <br /> employees for the 1998-99 fiscal year. In order to fully fund the approved pay plan, the Board <br /> appropriated an additional$118,734 from the County's fund balance. This amendment provides for <br /> the appropriation(column#2,page 2). <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board of Commissioners approve the <br /> attached budget amendments. <br />
