Also included would be a statement that the maps <br /> would be submitted for approval to the State Fire Marshal's Office. <br /> You are correct, the boundaries for the new South Orange fire service district and fire <br /> insurance district are the same, and the boundaries for the new Greater Chapel Hill fire <br /> service district and fire insurance district are also the same. <br /> The Abstract is a public document and I don't think it is proper to change the <br /> recommendations. Change the title of the two maps as follows: <br /> a) Change the title of the map referenced as Attachment A in the Resolution <br /> Establishing the South Orange Fire Service District to "South Orange Fire Service District/New <br /> South Orange Fire Insurance District" <br /> b) Change the title of the map referenced as Attachment A in the Resolution <br /> Establishing the Greater Chapel Hill Fire Service District to "Greater Chapel Hill Fire Service <br /> District/Greater Chapel Hill Fire Insurance District" <br /> 2. Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the necessary three resolutions, with maps <br /> amended above, establishing the three new Fire Service Districts: <br /> - South Orange Fire Service District and Map <br /> - Greater Chapel Hill Fire Service District and Map <br /> - Southern Triangle Fire Service District and Map <br /> 3. Approve and authorize the Chair to sign as necessary new boundaries for three (3) existing <br /> fire insurance districts: <br /> • - South Orange Fire Insurance District <br /> • - Greater Chapel Hill Fire Insurance District <br /> • - North Chatham Fire Insurance District <br /> 1. <br /> 4. Authorize staff to submit these new fire insurance districts to the State Fire Marshal's <br /> Office. <br />
