Other modes to be evaluated include public <br /> transportation, bicycle, and pedestrian facilities. Using information from the AA, travel patterns and the <br /> overall transportation network within the project study area and the project effects will be described. <br /> Effects on existing and planned bicycle and pedestrian facilities will be assessed. Potential joint opportunities or shared parking <br /> opportunities will be explored and evaluated in parking constrained areas. This <br /> data will be updated based on data collected for the AA and refined for the New Starts submittal. The <br /> data will be analyzed and local area planners and other officials will be contacted as needed to complete <br /> the assessment of potential impacts and benefits. Existing and future land use maps delineating <br /> residential, commercial, industrial, public, agricultural and undeveloped areas adjacent to the alignment <br /> will be revised and impacts identified as necessary. The land use templates will be updated using these <br /> results for the Engineering submittal to FTA <br /> Deliverable: <br /> 9 DEIS Chapter on Land Use and Community Facilities (Draft and Final), <br /> 4,41 Socioeconoa°nnpc Conditions <br /> Population and Demographics <br /> The URS team will collect and map population and demographic data for the project study area that will <br /> include one-quarter and one-half mile buffers of the 17 proposed LRT station locations. Data will be <br /> collected using the US Census, American Community Study, and Traffic Analysis Zone (TAZ) data and will <br /> be mapped using a geographic information system (GIS).
