0 <br />Strong Opinions (greater than 3:1 ratio in favor): <br />• If new building, it needs to be a closed building, not an open shelter; <br />• If new building, preferred to be near site of existing building; <br />• Locating cell tower on the property would be okay, if it meant improved <br />reception <br />• The facility (new construction or adaptive re -use) should be able to <br />accommodate: <br />o Family reunions <br />• Community meetings <br />• Stage for performances /speakers <br />• Kitchen (warming /catering kitchen) <br />o Rooms to be used for classes <br />• Rooms that can be used for summer camps <br />• Rooms for games and indoor athletics (basketball, etc.) <br />Moderate Opinions (generally 3:1 to 2:1 ratio in favor): <br />• If new building with warming kitchen, needs an exterior window for exterior <br />concessions use; <br />• Preference for a park- and -ride lot at the facility (just under a 3:1 ratio in <br />favor) <br />Intensity of Preference, ranked from highest to lowest intensity: <br />1) Keep cafeteria and gym (center section) and perform the adaptive re -use <br />renovation (27 votes) <br />2) Accommodation for family reunions and community meetings (16 votes) <br />3) Build a new structure to replace existing facility (13 votes) <br />4) Not opposed to a cell tower on site to improve reception (9 votes) <br />5) If new building, should be an enclosed structure (9) <br />6) Have an exterior kitchen window for outdoor concessions (8 votes) <br />7) Accommodation for classes of various types (7 votes) <br />8) Accommodation for space for summer camps (6 votes) <br />9) Accommodation for a warming kitchen and a stage (5 votes) <br />10) If new building, should be on the same spot as original building with <br />appropriate memorialization (2 votes) <br />11) Should have a park- and -ride lot, and would personally use this kind of <br />building (1 vote) <br />12)lf new building, should be an outdoor structure (0 votes) <br />The individuals on the mailing list were also sent a summary of the meeting and the next steps <br />for the process. <br />Information regarding the March 19, 2012 public meeting, its results, and other related material <br />is located in Attachment 2, "Supplemental Information ", Section E. <br />
