167 <br />r, <br />How the firm would encourage local construction companies' participation: <br />We will proactively recruit local construction companies to participate in this project, We will seek <br />to do so as follows: <br />• Notifying local contractors, subs and suppliers at the midway of our construction document <br />phase when the scope of work and expected trades and materials are understood <br />• We will require all of our consulting engineers to do likewise <br />• Advertise upcoming prebid conference and bidding <br />• Post the same on our web -site and the county web -site <br />• Offer announcement of upcoming Pre -Bid Conferences and expected bid date at two County <br />Commission meetings in advance <br />• Conduct an informative pre -bid conference at the site <br />
