School Capital Approved Projects 2152 <br /> CIP FY2013-14 <br /> PURPOSE: To approve the FY2013-18 Orange County Capital Investment Plan, and adopt the <br /> County Capital Projects of $6,036,242 and the School Capital Projects of $7,653,599 for <br /> FY2013-14. <br /> BACKGROUND: For over 20 years, the County has produced a Capital Investment Plan (CIP) <br /> that establishes a budget planning guide related to capital needs for the County as well as <br /> Schools. The current CIP consists of a 5-year plan that is evaluated annually to include year-to- <br /> year changes in priorities, needs, and available resources. <br /> Capital Investment Plan — Overview <br /> The FY 2013-18 CIP includes County Projects, School Projects, Proprietary Projects, and <br /> Special Revenue Projects. <br /> Attachment 1 is the FY2013-18 Capital Investment Plan Overall Summary (individual projects <br /> were provided to the Board of County Commissioners at previous work sessions, and revised <br /> projects presented and discussed at the June 13, 2013 work session). <br /> Attachment 2 lists County Capital projects totaling $6,036,242 in FY2013-14. <br />
