After a review of the Clerk's <br />performance, the Board determined that an amendment to the Clerk's contract was <br />appropriate. The amendment provides an increase to the Clerk's salary to a base salary of <br />$90,926. <br />Additionally, the Board approved paying the Clerk a lump sum of $1,400 annually to cover <br />travel expenses incurred. This provision is consistent with other Board appointed positions. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Sufficient funds are currently available in the Board of County <br />Commissioners FY 2012 -13 budget to cover these increases and will be included in future <br />recommended budgets. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve and authorize the <br />Chair to sign the amendment to the Clerk to the Board's Employment Agreement. <br />
