Location Maps Coordinator, 919 - 245 -2578 <br />Craig Benedict, Planning Director, 919 -245- <br />2592 <br />PURPOSE: To consider the legal advertisement for items to be presented at the joint Board of <br />County Commissioners /Planning Board Quarterly Public Hearing scheduled for September 9, <br />2013, and provide notification of a possible work session item at the conclusion of the hearing. <br />BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners reviews proposals to be considered at <br />public hearing for consistency with general County policy and presentation format. The <br />following items are scheduled for the September 9, 2013 Quarterly Public Hearing (see maps in <br />Attachment 2 for locations): <br />Applications: <br />1. Zoning Atlas Amendment (rezoning) request submitted by Ms. Maria Keizer and Mr. <br />Ronald Keizer to rezone a 2.67 acre parcel of property located at 3604 Southern Drive <br />(PIN 9844 -86 -5155) <br />From: Rural Residential (R -1) and Light Industrial (1 -1) <br />To: Light Industrial (1 -1) <br />2. Zoning Atlas Amendment (rezoning) request submitted by Ms. Maria Keizer and Mr. <br />Ronald Keizer to rezone two parcels of property totaling approximately 16 acres of land <br />area (PINs 9844 -86 -7573 and 9844 -87- 7368). These undeveloped properties do not <br />have assigned street addresses but are located south and east of 3604 Southern <br />Drive.
