31 <br /> 1 Commissioner Rich — none <br /> 2 Chair Jacobs said that Commissioner Pelissier had petitioned that the Board meet with <br /> 3 Alamance County and this has been postponed until after the budget season at Alamance <br /> 4 County's request. He said there will be a meeting with the Durham City Mayor and Manager on <br /> 5 May 15 and the Clerk has circulated a draft agenda. He welcomed suggestions. <br /> 6 Chair Jacobs said there was a meeting last week with staff and Triangle Transit and <br /> 7 Craig Benedict took notes that will be shared later. He said Triangle Transit was invited to the <br /> 8 May 21st BOCC meeting to give the Board an update report. <br /> 9 Chair Jacobs met with the Mayors of the three towns to talk about recycling and all <br /> 10 three affirmed interest in being part of the same system through the 2013-14 fiscal year. Mayor <br /> 11 Kleinschmidt said that Chapel Hill will still finish an independent investigation before deciding to <br /> 12 proceed. Mayor Kleinschmidt expressed the hope that the County would implement roller carts <br /> 13 and this will be addressed at the next CIP meeting to see if there is state grant money available <br /> 14 for this. <br /> 15 Chair Jacobs said he sent an email today regarding the Carrboro Library and his <br /> 16 meeting with a representative of the developer.
