She said she had attended a <br /> 2 presentation on this and she would like to follow up on this to see what might be learned. <br /> 3 Commissioner McKee said he also feels this article deserves some future discussion. <br /> 4 Commissioner Price said her take on the Rogers Road Task force meeting was that <br /> 5 people are feeling confident about change coming to that area. <br /> 6 Commissioner Gordon represented Board of County Commissioners at the dedication of <br /> 7 the new Chapel Hill public library and she said it is a beautiful facility. She encouraged the <br /> 8 Board to take a look at it. <br /> 9 Chair Jacobs referred to a press release on Earth Evening, scheduled for April 26th at <br /> 10 the farmers market in Hillsborough. He said he also read the editorial and he wrote a rebuttal. <br /> 11 He feels that statistics were manipulated to create a false impression of Orange County. <br /> 12 Chair Jacobs said that an expedited process had been developed to address issues in <br /> 13 the legislature. He said that there had been a meeting with the Social Services board regarding <br /> 14 drug testing. He said that Commissioner McKee raised an objection and there was no clear <br /> 15 way to proceed. He said that an email had been received asking for the Board's input on this <br /> 16 issue. He said there is a problem with the system and this will need to be addressed. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 13.
