12
1 Frank Clifton referenced a prior discussion regarding example agendas. He said that
2 the capacity does not exist to do what Commissioner Gordon wants, unless a package is
3 purchased. He said this would cost in the ballpark of$75-$80,000. He said the current system
4 is only $2,500 and works well. He suggested a work session to further discuss this.
5 David Hunt said the agenda is a single PDF file and it is indexed on the left. He clarified
6 that, in order to offer the public a single file for just one part of the agenda, the board would
7 have to close each agenda item out and save comments. He said that, although the single file
8 system may not be best for members of the public wanting a specific agenda item, it is what
9 works best for the board.
10 Chair Jacobs asked if there is capability to have videos on the newly designed website.
11 Carla Banks said she would like to have streaming video on the site and it would be
12 embedded into the site or video links
13 David Hunt said there are some departments currently using video links, so there is
14 capability for this.
15 Chair Jacobs clarified that there would be a proposal in the budget cycle, followed by a
16 re-visit along the way.
17
18 4.
