Attachment 3 is an updated <br />Scope of Services from Solutions for Local Governments (see highlighted portions) that reflects <br />input from the May 14, 2013 Board work session. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There no financial impact associated with the creation of a Work Group <br />for the Assessment of Jail Alternative Programs. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board provide direction to staff <br />as to the creation of a Jail Alternatives Work Group, suggested Charge and /or next steps <br />needed regarding alternatives to incarceration as a component to planning a new Jail. <br />
