M <br />rr� <br />Chapel Hill, 12 March 2012 <br />Dear Mr. Crayton, <br />F <br />Steve Hinsley, tax assessor for Orange County NC, has established that our house has <br />been overassessed for a considerable amount due to errors in the calculation of its <br />square footage by the tax authorities. On 6 March 2012 Mr. Hinsley assessed the tax <br />value of the property to be $472.100 (instead of the former $507.401) based on a <br />square footage of 2273 sq foot (instead of the former 2649 sq ft.). No alterations <br />have been made to the structure of the house between our date of purchase and <br />today.
