He said that a <br /> consistent cyclical training program is most important. <br /> Jim Groves reviewed the Basic Preparedness Planning information. He said that the <br /> Emergency Operations Framework (EOF) is basically how the county does business for <br /> significant emergencies and disasters. He said this outlines authorities, and assigns goals and <br /> responsibilities within County government and Emergency Response Services. <br /> Darshan Patel said the Building Specific Emergency Action Plan (EAP) takes the <br /> principles of the EOF and applies them to a specific building. This covers medical <br /> emergencies, weather emergencies and workplace threats. He said the EAP gives a response <br /> framework and allows for specific training regimens for managers and employees in the <br /> building. <br /> Jeff Thompson said the "Know Your Building" program is specific to the building <br /> features and processes for the employee and public who visit those buildings.
