Revenue Comments - continued <br />Health - These revenues reflect the State and Federal share for various health programs. <br />Local - Revenues reflected in this category include Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) profit <br />distributions and alcoholic rehabilitation funds. Before the 1992 -93 fiscal year, the County and <br />the ABC Board had an agreement that Orange County would receive $500,000 each year from <br />ABC profits. Since that time the agreement has been replaced by statutory provisions that all <br />net profits, after required distributions, will be distributed to Orange County local government. <br />Other State — Examples of these revenues include: Soil and Water staff and operating <br />reimbursements; Child Support Enforcement reimbursements and IV -D incentive payments; <br />Safe Roads Act monies; Office of Juvenile Justice Program (OJJP) grant; and other smaller <br />state and federal grants. <br />Charges <br />for <br />Services <br />All Other <br />95% <br />Charges for 00 <br />Services <br />5% <br />The following revenues are associated with the Inspections Division of the Planning <br />Department. The Board of County Commissioners regulates these partial cost recovery <br />fees. <br />Electrical Inspections - These fees are for permits and inspections related to the installation of <br />electrical work and wiring in residential and commercial facilities in Orange County. Electrical <br />inspection fees are estimated at $125,000 for FY 2013 -14. <br />Mechanical Inspections - These fees are for permits and inspections related to the installation <br />of heating and air - conditioning systems. Mechanical inspection fees are estimated at $101,000 <br />for FY 2013 -14. <br />Plumbing Inspections - This category reflects fees associated with the permits and inspections <br />for the installation of plumbing fixtures. Plumbing inspection fees are estimated at $63,000 for <br />FY 2013 -14. <br />Building Inspections - These revenues are charged for building construction inspections and <br />permits.
