Department of Social Services - continued <br />Budget Highlights <br />• The Board of County Commissioners approved the grant on August 21, 2012. FY 2013 -14 funds <br />will cover costs, for the second year of the grant. The Orange County Partnership for Children will <br />reimburse position costs. <br />Grant Project Fund: Building Futures Program Program (Multi -Year Project) <br />A Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Youth Employment & Training Program. <br />The grant will provide academic, occupational activities and work experience (paid & unpaid), for <br />eligible Orange County youth. An anticipated that 15 participants will have paid work experiences. <br />Budget Highlights <br />The grant will fund two, Social Worker II positions (2.0 FTE) to begin the Summer Opportunities <br />element, effective July 1, 2013. Staff costs total $108,719. No County match is required for the <br />program and grant funds will completely offset all program expenditures. <br />K1111 <br />
