Housing, Human Rights and Community Development - continued <br />Housina /Human Riahts: Uraent Reoair Proaram <br />Major Services <br />• Small Housing Rehabilitation Services to address the repair needs that pose a threat to the life, <br />safety, and /or health of low- income occupants, or that address accessibility modifications for a <br />disabled occupant. <br />FY 2012 -13 Outcomes <br />• Reduce the total number of substandard dwellings in the County. <br />• Address immediate health and safety repair needs for low- income families in the County <br />particularly those that are elderly and /or disabled. <br />Performance Measures 2010 -11 2011 -12 2012 -13 2012 -13 2013 -14 <br />Actual Actual Budget Projected Budget <br />Service: Repair needs that pose a threat to the life, safety, and /or health of low- income occupants, or that <br />address accessibility modifications for a disabled occupant. <br />Number of dwelling units with immediate 25 15 22 20 20 <br />health, safety, or accessibility issues. <br />FY 2013 -14 Fiscal Year Objectives <br />• Repair 20 dwelling units occupied by disabled and /or elderly residents that contain health, safety, <br />or accessibility issues. <br />• Provide rental subsidies and utility and security deposit assistance for up to 20 low- income families <br />that were homeless at the time of initial assistance. <br />• Provide first -time homebuyer opportunities for 30 low and moderate income families. <br />Budget Highlights <br />Funding for Urgent Repair costs will decrease by $15,000 to $60,000, in FY 2013 -14. <br />Housina /Human Riahts: Partnershin to End Homelessness Proaram <br />Major Services <br />• Work with identified partners to build capacity and a process to provide housing first units to <br />chronically homeless individuals up to at least a total of 40 units. <br />• Strengthen partnerships with local service providers to the homeless. <br />• Establish work groups dedicated to the five goals of the County's 10 Year Plan to End <br />Homelessness. <br />• Develop tools and processes for evaluating the impact of the Orange County Ten Year Plan to <br />End Homelessness in the community. <br />FY 2012 - 13 Outcomes <br />Facilitated increased access to services for seven (7) of the most medically vulnerable people <br />experiencing long -term homelessness in our community through the 100,000 Homes Task Force. <br />MIN <br />
