CAPACITY BUILDING AGREEMENT <br /> APPENDIX A - FY'98 <br /> STATEMENT OF WORK <br /> A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> The" Recipient agrees to process those housing discrimination <br /> complaints arising within its jurisdiction, except as <br /> otherwise stated in this Statement of Work. The Recipient <br /> agrees to cooperate with HUD in handling and processing <br /> housing discrimination complaints filed under the Fair <br /> Housing Act and the fair housing law enforced by the agency <br /> in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding or Interim <br /> Agreement and any amendments or revisions thereto executed <br /> during the course of this agreement by the signatories. <br /> The Recipient agrees to implement appropriate directives <br /> provided to it by the Department. <br /> The Recipient agrees to follow HUD' s Technical Guidance in <br /> processing all dual-filed complaints vouchered for under this <br /> Cooperative Agreement until the Department rescinds the <br /> requirement in writing to the Recipient. <br /> " The Recipient agrees to furnish all staffing information as <br /> required by Article 1 of this Cooperative Agreement. <br /> The Recipient may be required to participate in customer <br /> satisfaction research and evaluation activities under this <br /> cooperative agreement. The Recipient agrees to furnish all <br /> information collected from its customers to HUD in a form to <br /> be defined by the Department. <br /> B. CAPACITY BUILDING <br /> The Recipient agrees to develop a complaint processing <br /> capability sufficient to enable the Recipient to process all <br /> housing-discrimination complaints arising under its jurisdiction <br /> in future years. The Recipient also agrees to process hoti'sing <br /> discrimination complaints in accordance with A. above, General <br /> Requirements, and in accordance with the Criteria for Processing <br /> which are incorporated herein as Attachment A to the Schedule of <br /> Articles. <br /> The Recipient further agrees to implement the Capacity <br /> Building activities set forth in its application for funding. A <br /> list of product deliverables and timetables is at the end of this <br /> Statement of Work. <br />
