Streets, drives and parking <br />areas provide safe and <br />convenient access for <br />dwellings and emergency <br />vehicles, and do not create <br />small block sizes. <br />b► 2. Vehicular access controlled <br />as follows: <br />a) Streets serving 50 or <br />less dwellings provide <br />direct access to <br />parking /service areas. <br />b) Streets serving greater <br />than 50 dwellings provide <br />access to parking areas <br />so located, designed and <br />controlled as to channel <br />traffic without interruption. <br />b) 3. Walkways form safe, convenient <br />system of access to dwellings, <br />facilities and off -site designations. <br />Maximum walking distance <br />between dwellings and parking; <br />delivery and refuse collection <br />areas does not exceed 100 feet. <br />Walkways used as play areas <br />or school routes by children <br />located and designated to <br />minimize contact with <br />vehicular traffic.
