1 lot of less than ten(10)acres. <br /> 2 <br /> 3 3. The gross floor area in the ADU shall not exceed 900 square feet. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 4. Exterior fire-exit stairs are prohibited on any side of ADUs except at <br /> 6 their rear. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 5. All off-street parking for ADUs shall be located to the side or rear and <br /> 9 shall be visually screened from adjoining properties and from all <br /> 10 streets. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 (6) Roads and Streets. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 a. Street patterns within the village mixed use shall be a rectilinear network of <br /> 15 streets, interconnected with clear, direct, understandable patterns, with <br /> 16 variations as needed for topographic and environment and other valid design <br /> 17 consideration. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 b. Streets shall be designed generally to: <br /> 20 <br /> 21 1. Parallel and preserve existing fence lines, tree lines, hedgerows and <br /> 22 stone walls. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 2. Minimize alteration of naturall site features. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 3. Secure the view to prominent natural vistas. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 4. Minimize the area devoted to vehicle travel: <br /> 29 <br /> 30 5. Promote pedestrian movement so that it is generally more convenient <br /> 31 to walk short distances than to drive. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 6. Be aligned so that the"terminal vista" is of open space features, either <br /> 34 man-made (greens, commons), natural (meadows, large trees in <br /> 35 distance),or a community structure of significance. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 C. With the exception of loop roads, all neighborhood and local streets shall <br /> 38 terminate at other streets within the village proper and shall provide <br /> 39 connections to existing or proposed through streets or collectors outside the <br /> 40 village proper where practical. Loop roads, as defined in this chapter, are <br /> 41 specifically allowed. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 d. Sidewalks shall be provided as required in Article X1V of this chapter. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 e.
