F. The first phase of the planning study will consist of a historic architectural
survey and an archeological survey of the Corridor.
In February, 1999, the BOCC approved a Request for Proposals for the archeological
survey, which was distributed to a list of qualified consultants certified by the State
Historic Preservation Office. Two proposals were received. After review and
discussion of the proposals at their March 24 meeting, the Historic Preservation
Commission selected Linda F. This survey, coupled with a historical architecture
survey to be performed by GAI Consultants, Inc., will be part of an eventual
Preservation Plan for the St. Mary's Road Corridor.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
