The JobLink is still in the process of cornr- <br /> pleting the C wreer Closet located at Bastlawn Baptist Church. <br /> The Triad' arks. Regional Workforce Development was awarded a state grant for the "Project Second <br /> Chance" a regional program designed to assist former-offenders reintegrate into the world of work„ Ala- <br /> mance JobLink Center is one of the host sites for the program. Orientation of the program has been <br /> introduced to approximately 107 individuals and has graduated 20 participants. Each graduate received <br /> the Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) and completed other components of the program. There are <br /> nine participants placed in work experiences and two participants are in direct hire positions. Glenda <br /> Morrow, JobLink Manager works diligently with her participants in providing services to help them suc- <br /> cessful re-entry into society.
