3 <br /> A Resolution Referring the <br /> Shaping orange County's Future Provisional Report to <br /> Relevant County Advisory Boards <br /> WHEREAS., in May of this year the Shaping Orange County's Future Task Force transmitted its <br /> Provisional Report to the elected boards of Carrboro, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough and Orange <br /> County, and <br /> WHEREAS,, on August 28, 2000, the Orange County Board of Commissioners held a public <br /> hearing on the Provisional Report, and <br /> WHEREAS, an Assembly of Governments meeting has been scheduled for January 29, 2001 to <br /> discuss the Task Force report: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED <br /> That the Orange County Board of Commissioners refers the Task Force Provisional Report to the <br /> attached list of County advisory boards for their review and comment. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED <br /> That the listed advisory boards consider, as soon as possible, whether sufficient time exists for <br /> review and comment to be completed prior to January 16, 2001, examine the possibility of <br /> expeditiously addressing this subject with other participating boards or commissions, and advise <br /> the Board of Commissioners.as soon as possible of their reaction as to the appropriateness of <br /> this deadline. <br /> This, the 21't day of November, 2000. <br /> V 52 <br /> c4JI-C 4La <br /> e0s& Carey, Jr. <br /> i ioners <br /> Chair, Board of Commissioners <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Beverly BlythiL4 <br /> Clerk to the Board <br />
