degree with the performance of services required under this Agreement. Habitat further <br /> covenants that in the performance of this Agreement no person having such financial interest <br /> shall be employed or retained by Habitat hereunder. These conflict of interest provisions apply <br /> to any person who is an employee, agent, consultant, officer, or elected official or appointed <br /> official of Habitat, or any designated public agencies or subrecipients that are receiving funds <br /> under the HOME Investment Partnership Program. <br /> V. Performance of Government Functions. Notwithstanding anything in this <br /> Agreement which may be to the contrary, nothing contained in this Agreement shall in any way <br /> stop, limit or impair the County from exercising or performing any regulatory, policing or <br /> governmental powers or functions with respect to the Property including, without limitation, <br /> inspection of the Property in the performance of such functions. <br /> 8 <br />
