B. Allowable Discharges <br /> The commencement, conduct, or continuance of any illegal discharge to the <br /> stormwater collection system is prohibited except as described as follows: <br /> 1. The following discharges are exempt from discharge prohibitions <br /> established by this Ordinance provided that they do not significantly <br /> impact water quality: <br /> a) Waterline flushing, <br /> b) Landscape irrigation, <br /> c) Diverted stream flows, <br /> d) Uncontaminated rising groundwater, <br /> e) Uncontaminated groundwater infiltration to the stormwater <br /> collection system, <br /> f) Uncontaminated pumped groundwater, <br /> g) Discharges from potable water sources, <br /> h) Foundation drains, <br /> i) Uncontaminated air conditioning condensation, <br /> j) Irrigation water, <br /> k) Springs, <br /> 1) Water from crawl space pumps, <br /> m) Footing drains, <br /> n) Lawn watering, <br /> o) Non-commercial car washing, <br /> p) Flows from riparian habitats and wetlands, <br /> q) NPDES permitted discharges, <br /> r) Street wash water, <br /> s) Fire fighting emergency activities, <br /> t) Wash water from the cleaning of buildings, <br /> u) Dechlorinated backwash and draining associated with <br /> swimming pools, and <br /> v) Flows from firefighting. <br /> w) Discharges specified in writing by the County as being . <br /> necessary to public health and safety. <br /> x) Dye testing is an allowable discharge,but requires verbal - <br /> notification to the County prior to the time of the test. <br /> y) Any rion-stormwater discharge permitted under an NPDES <br /> permit, waiver, or waste discharge order issued to the discharger <br /> and administered under the authority of the Federal Environmental <br /> Protection Agency,provided that the discharger is in full <br /> compliance with all requirements of the permit, waiver, or waste <br /> discharge order and other applicable laws and regulations, and <br /> provided that written approval has been granted for any discharge <br /> to the stormwater collection system. <br /> C. Prohibited Discharges <br /> 1. It is a violation of this Ordinance for any person to discharge any <br /> substance into the stormwater collection system which by its nature,may: <br /> 30 <br />
