Receive the draft Comprehensive Transportation Plan. <br /> 2. Conduct the public hearing and accept public and BOCC comment on the proposed <br /> Plan. <br /> 3. Refer the matter to the OUTBoard with a request that a recommendation be returned to <br /> the BOCC in time for the March 7, 2013 BOCC regular meeting. <br /> 4. Adjourn the public hearing until March 7, 2013 in order to receive and accept the <br /> OUTBoard's recommendation and any submitted written comments. <br /> In answer to questions about park and ride lots, it was answered that the park and ride <br /> lots are consistent with the bus and rail investment plan. Regarding funding, the CTP does not <br /> address this aspect. It is a long-range vision. <br /> Commissioner Gordon made reference to page 92 and asked if these were adopted <br /> definitions of facilities. Sarah Lee said that these are standardized definitions that DOT uses. <br /> Commissioner Gordon made reference to page 101 and said that there should be <br /> some kind of"key" for these definitions on this page. <br /> Sarah Lee said that on page 100 it lists out the various abbreviations. <br /> Commissioner Gordon asked what kind of input is needed from the County <br /> Commissioners. <br /> Sarah Lee said that at this point they would like the agreement on the proposals when <br /> it comes back in March. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin asked for an explanation of how the CTP and the transportation <br /> plan for the County would work together. <br /> Tom Altieri said that the Orange County Bus and Rail Investment Plan does address <br /> the entire county. Part of this has to do with the organizational structure of transportation. <br /> Commissioner McKee said that it is important to keep in mind that these various plans <br /> have different funding sources and are controlled by different entities.
