New Hope Creek Corridor Project Yh b <br /> Capital Project Ordinance <br /> Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Section <br /> 13.2 of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina,the following capital project is <br /> hereby adopted. <br /> Section 1. The project authorized will provide for a wildlife habitat and hiking and biking <br /> trails along a twenty-three mile corridor from rural Orange County to Jordan <br /> Lake. Proceeds from the County's portion of the one-half cent sales taxes and <br /> subdivision payment-in-lieu funds finance this project. Fiscal year 2000-01 is the <br /> final year of the agreement with Triangle Land Conservancy for contribution to <br /> this project. <br /> Section 2. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within <br /> the budget contained herein. <br /> Section 3. This ordinance,originally adopted June 26, 1995 and subsequently amended, shall <br /> remain in effect until June 30, 2001. <br /> Adopted this 29'b day of June 2000. <br />
