M <br />W <br />Department of Envlroament� <br />Agriculture, P-arks & Recreation <br />March 1, 2013 <br />Donna Baker <br />Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners <br />200 South Cameron Street <br />Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />Dear Donna: <br />The terms of three members of the Orange County Historic Preservation Commission <br />(HPC) will expire on March 31, 2013: Robert Golan, Robert Ireland, and Steve Rankin. <br />Mr. Golan and Mr, Ireland have been engaged, conscientious members of the HPC, with <br />good attendance, as reflected in the attached records for the past two years. Both were <br />initially appointed to fill vacancies for unexpired terms, and thus both are eligible for <br />reappointment to two additional terms. Both have expressed their willingness to serve <br />another term. <br />Mr. Rankin, our current vice chair, is in the process of moving out of Orange County and <br />will therefore not be eligible for reappointment.
