r Section IV.3 The QA Role for This Project <br /> PART I GENERAL The Quality Assurance (QA) program shall be maintained for all <br /> REQUIREMENTS Soil Liner (SL) construction activities. A Quality Assurance <br /> Officer (QAO) shall be responsible for the implementation of the <br /> quality control program. <br /> The QA program shall consist of all construction and <br /> administrative activities related to the SL to control the overall <br /> quality of the SL. The program shall be implemented by Draper <br /> Aden Associates. See Section II of this proposal personnel <br /> resumes. Quality shall be defined as the level of effort, materials, <br /> means or methods used which meet the minimum requirements as <br /> specified in the Project Documents. Administrative items included <br /> in the QC program include project QC submittals, field logs, and <br /> record drawings. <br /> All soils testing shall be performed in-house by our qualified <br /> testing laboratory. The soils testing laboratory has participated in <br /> an inspection program conducted by the National Institute for <br /> Science and Technology or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers <br /> within the past 2 years. A soils testing laboratory representative <br /> shall be present on site during all construction operations which <br /> require quality control testing or observation as per the project <br /> specifications. <br /> Time schedules for Quality Control testing will closely follow the <br /> Contractor's proposed schedule, and will be adjusted during <br /> construction as per the Contractor's schedule. <br /> The CQA services which Draper Aden Associates will provide <br /> include the performance of QA Engineering, Construction <br /> Management and QC soils testing in accordance with the project <br /> plans and specifications. <br /> In order to improve communication, and provide potential savings <br /> to the Town of Chapel FE11. Draper Aden Associates can provide a <br /> highly qualified QA Officer (QAO) on site full time to provide <br /> both general CM Services and QC soils testing services for the <br /> contractor during the placing of the soil component of the liner <br /> system. Draper Aden Associates' QA Engineer will perform <br /> weekly site visits with routine attendance at job site meetings to <br /> update Progress, Provide testing clarification and monitor the <br /> performance of the contractor. As part of this scope of work, <br /> Draper Aden Associates construction administration services will <br /> include items such as coordinating job site meetings, processing of <br />
