<br />Project Description /Justification
<br />Twin Creeks (Moniese Nomp) Park is located along Old NC 86 north of Carrboro. Phase I of the park (Jones Creek Greenway) was completed in 2011. Funding for this
<br />Phase 11 of this park is projected to be in years 6 -10. However, an opportunity to construct the main entry road may exist in 2013 in conjunction with shared roadway
<br />owner MI Homes (Ballentine subdivision). Potential participation in the road construction cost is reflected here, if the County chooses to participate. (If it does not
<br />participate, a longer, more costly segment of the road may be required in the future at the time of park construction.) A Phase III of the park would likely exist and be
<br />beyond the scope of Year 10.
